Together, they run a drag club where Armond (Robin Williams) is the manager and club owner, and Albert (Nathan Lane) is the club’s main performance act. The Birdcage is about two gay men who live together in South Beach, Florida. Robin Williams kills it and I’d dare to say that Nathan Lane is even funnier.

I’ve seen this movie before but if anything, it only got funnier. I’m honestly still confused about what happened so I don’t know where I’m going with this but basically this is Disobedience 2 in the sense that you get to be turned on by Rachel Weisz for 2 hours :) All women are beautiful, and honestly Emma Stone is a stone cold fox in any other setting besides this movie. Emma Stone is a slimy serpent in this movie like YOU’RE TELLING ME the queen is supposed to choose between fucking Emma Stone and RACHEL WEISZ LIKE THATS SOME SORT OF COMPETITION? Reelin it back. Rachael Weisz gets hotter literally with EVERY SECOND. Then Olive gets a little eccentric and tries to crush a bunny with her foot. Then SHE fricks the queen (WHY? WHY DID SHE DO THAT. Olive from Easy A slips in and is flirting with everyone including the queen (WHERE DID SHE COME FROM?) and like people just let her in the castle. But basically its also kind of clear that they frack, but no one is gonna protest because Queen Anne is very much an “off with his head” type. Onto the housekeeping: Queen Anne who I’m sure is very important in history but I know squat about history so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯… basically she has a lady (literally a Lady, name is Sarah!) who is like pretty openly her main confidant and maybe also have some kind of position there? Idk fair warning: not much is clear. Thank you and goodnight 9/10.Ģ) Oh I need another reason?… Okay… OLIVIA FUCKING COLMAN (who a lovely friend of mine pointed out played Naomi’s mom on Skins!!!! So when you start watching the movie and start thinking where have I seen that delicious lady before, now you have the answer)

It was extremely intense and absolutely wild - please don’t put this one on in the background this requires your full attention. Did a touch of research and come to find out that Woolf suffered from bipolar disorder and eventually committed suicide - none of this is explicitly explained in the film but it’s really interesting to see how they foreshadowed her experience with mental illness and the way they portrayed it sort of helps you understand the turmoil she went through when she was writing works such as ‘Orlando’.
I didn’t realize that Virginia Woolf suffered from mental illness and even though the movie actually seems to focus on Vita primarily, it begins to shift towards the end and you see how Vita’s influence on her affected her emotionally and mentally. This movie is about Virginia Woolf and Vita last-name-that-I-do-not-know who had an affair at the height of Woolf’s career… hmmm wonder what could have caused that.
THIS WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE?!?!? This was honestly one of the best movies I’ve been in a long time (and the hottest) and they did such a fantastic job giving you a peek into Virginia’s personal life. Okay listen up team we’re gonna make this a quick one because ya girl is drunk.
